We will discuss your fee at the time of the intial consultation. I do have a limited number of sliding scale appointments available for those experiencing financial hardship. If you still are not able to afford my fee I will try to help you find somewhat who will be a good match for you at a fee you can afford.
Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
If you have a PPO and you determine that your insurance company will cover my services as an out-of-network provider I will be happy to provide you with a statement at the end of the month that you can submit to your insurance carrier. You will need to cover your deductible and co-pay amount for our sessions.
I am an out of network provider for many PPO plans. I am not on any HMO plans.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 72 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Insurance companies never pay for missed sessions.
